Knit & fleece care: storage tips for a long life
A well-cared-for piece keeps its shape for years. A few simple rules are enough for knit and fleece.
Washing
- Gentle cycle at 30°C or hand wash
- Don't use fabric softener; it harms the yarn texture
- Reshape and dry flat without wringing
Storage
- Don't hang knitwear; store it folded (hangers stretch the shoulders)
- Put it away clean and completely dry at season's end
- A cotton bag protects from moisture and dust
If pilling appears, gently lift it in one direction with a fabric comb.
